Telford Town are delighted to confirm the appointment of Eddie Yee as Manager of Telford Town Ladies Reserves ahead of the 25/26 season.
Eddie joins us after spending the last six years with AFC Telford United, where he made his mark in the women’s and girls’ game. During that time, he helped develop players and led teams to silverware, including the Under 18’s county cup success in the 2024/25 season.
A passionate coach and former member of the armed forces, Eddie is known for his focus on fitness, confidence, and teamwork. His experience and leadership will be invaluable as he takes charge of the reserves and builds a squad ready to challenge for honours while preparing players for first-team football.
Head of Women’s Football, Elys Brooks-Davies:
“We’re really pleased to bring Eddie into Telford Town. He’s proven himself over a number of years and has shown he knows how to win games and develop players. He has really brought in to what we want to achieve at Telford Town Football Club and his passion for the women’s game stands out, and we’re excited to see what he achieves with our reserve side.”
Eddie takes charge of the ladies reserves on Sunday as they face their first game of the season in the Shropshire women’s league away to Allscott Heath Ladies Development.
Welcome to Telford Town, Eddie! #UpTheTown
