Telford Town are pleased to announce the signing of experienced goalkeeper Dominic Smith from fellow NWCFL Division One South side Market Drayton Town.

Dominic adds valuable depth and experience to the squad, having previously represented a number of clubs across the Northern Counties East League, including Garforth Town, Eccleshill United, Knaresborough, and Liversedge. He has also played locally for Shifnal Town and Wednesfield, earning a reputation as a reliable and commanding presence between the posts.

Speaking on the signing, Telford Town manager Matthew Boswell said:

“With Jack(Boswell) ruled out for a while through injury, it was important we brought in another top-quality goalkeeper to keep competition strong in that area. Dominic’s experience at this level and above will be a big asset for us. He’s vocal, confident, and brings great professionalism to the group. Between Dominic, Jack, and Corey Lindsay, we’ve now got real strength in our goalkeeping department.”
