Millie, Lois, Ebonie & Elizabeth from Telford Town U12 Lionesses have all be selected to represent England at the 2027 Gothia Cup.

The Gothia Cup is the world's largest and most international youth football tournament, held every July in Gothenburg, Sweden.
It hosts around 1,700 to 2,000 teams from 80 different nations each year. Founded in 1975, it is owned and operated by the Swedish top-flight football club BK Häcken. It features separate boys' and girls' categories ranging from ages 11 to 18. Beyond the matches, it is famous for its Olympic-style Opening Ceremony at the Ullevi Stadium, which attracts over 50,000 spectators. The tournament focuses on cultural exchange, using football to bring young people together regardless of religion, skin colour, or nationality.
