Telford Town are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Jack Sandel, who joins the club from Step 5 side Brocton.
Jack came through the youth academy at Stafford Rangers, where he made his first-team debut at just 17 years old, marking him out early as a goalkeeper with strong potential. He later gained valuable senior experience during a loan spell with Gresley Rovers before spending last season with Stafford Town, competing in the North West Counties First Division South.
This season, Jack has been operating in the Midland League Premier Division with Brocton continuing his development and adding further experience at senior level.
A confident and athletic goalkeeper, Jack brings good shot-stopping ability, strong handling, and a calm presence to the defensive unit. Still young, he already possesses a solid grounding in non-league football and arrives with the hunger to continue progressing.
Telford Town Manager Steve Hinks said:
“Jack is a goalkeeper with a very good background for his age. He’s been exposed to senior football early, understands the demands of the non-league game, and has continued to develop season on season. He’s got the right attitude and is keen to push himself, and we’re pleased to bring him into the group.”
Everyone at Telford Town would like to welcome Jack to the club and we look forward to seeing him in action at the DRM Aggregates Arena.
