Telford Town are pleased to announce the signing of young goalkeeper Corey Lindsay.
Lindsay, 16, has previously been with NC United, Shrewsbury and Alscott Heath in his youth career and is making the step up to senior football for the first time having been training with the AMS this summer.
Manager Matthew Boswell said “ Corey has really impressed us over the summer with his attitude, work rate and decision making which for a young goalkeeper is exceptional. I am pleased he sees his development being here with us as he has the potential to go a long way in the game. As a club we are trying to build how we do things in the right way and we are now lucky enough to have 3 very good goalkeepers at the club in Jack(Boswell), Jay(Owen) and now Corey joining us. With our development team playing usually at the same time as us it means we can continue the development of all 3 of these exceptional goalkeepers whilst also having a keeper on the bench for first team games.
Welcome to the club Corey.
