36 year old Nicol had been with Dean Gill’s side for 4 years and was the top goalscorer in the midland league division one 2 seasons ago with 38 goals in 35 appearance and holds the club record for 7 goals in a game and prior to that his clubs include Worcester City, Alvechurch, and Bromsgrove Sporting.

Manager Matthew Boswell said “ Andy is a very exciting signing for us and we had to beat off competion from some very good clubs higher up the Pyramid so we are delighted he has chosen to come here, his record speaks for itself as he has scored goals wherever he has been and the fact he is so highly thought of at a superb club like Darlaston Town speaks volumes, really looking forward to working with him and his experience will also be vital to the younger lads in the squad as we get deeper into this season”.
