Telford Town are delighted to announce the signing of experienced striker Ryan Nesbitt, who joins the club from Step 5 side Romulus.
Ryan arrives with a wealth of non-league experience, having played across Steps 3–5 throughout his career. The powerful centre-forward has previously represented a number of well-known clubs including Coleshill Town, Chasetown, Walsall Wood, Gresley Rovers, Hednesford Town, Redditch United, Bedworth United, Alvechurch, Sutton Coldfield Town, Loughborough and Stafford Rangers, bringing a strong goalscoring pedigree and physical presence to the squad.
Standing at 6’1”, Ryan is a natural focal point up front, known for his strength, work rate and ability to lead the line. His experience at higher levels of the non-league pyramid will add valuable depth and competition to the attacking options as Telford Town push forward during the second half of the season.
Manager Steve Hinks said:
“Ryan is a striker I know well and one who brings exactly what we were looking for. He’s got experience at good levels, knows how to handle himself physically, and gives us a different option up front. He works hard for the team and understands what’s required in non-league football. I’m delighted to get him in.”
A big thank you to Romulus and Ty Belford for their assistance in getting the deal completed.
Everyone at Telford Town would like to welcome Ryan to the club and we look forward to seeing him in action in a red shirt as the season progresses.
Welcome to Telford Town, Ryan
