Telford Town are delighted to announce the signing of defender Kosta Mario ahead of the new season.
The 23-year-old joins the club bringing valuable experience from the non-league game, having represented clubs including Hednesford Town, Rushall Olympic and Aberystwyth Town. Generally operating at right-back but equally at home at left-back and in midfield, Kosta adds quality, athleticism and versatility to Shaun Ralph’s squad.
Standing at over six feet tall, Kosta is a strong and commanding presence who combines his physical attributes with the ability to contribute both defensively and going forward. His flexibility across a number of positions gives Town another important option as preparations continue for the upcoming campaign.
Manager Shaun Ralph said:
“We’re really pleased to bring Kosta to the football club. He’s a young player with a great attitude who has already gained some good experience. His versatility is a massive asset for us and he fits exactly the type of player we’ve been looking to add to the squad. We’re looking forward to working with him and helping him continue his development.”
Everyone at Telford Town would like to welcome Kosta to the club and we wish him every success in a Town shirt.
