Fred arrives at the DRM Aggregates Arena after spending the last four years with The New Saints FC (TNS), where he enjoyed a successful spell within one of Welsh football’s leading academy system. Prior to joining TNS, he represented AFC Telford, having previously developed through the academy at Shrewsbury Town.

A composed and technically gifted midfielder, Fred combines energy, intelligence and quality on the ball. His experience in high-level academy football has seen him compete against some of the best young talent in the UK and Europe.

During his time at TNS, Fred helped the club reach the 2026 FAW Youth Cup Final, lifted the 2025 ECFA Men’s Premier Cup, and finished as runners-up in the 2025 FAW Academi Development League National Final. He also featured in the club’s UEFA Youth League qualifiers against FK Žalgiris in 2024.

His individual performances have also been recognised throughout his career, winning The New Saints Supporters’ Player of the Year in 2023 and AFC Telford Manager’s Player of the Year in 2022.
