Telford Town FC are delighted to confirm that club captain Jordan Jones will remain at the DRM Aggregates Arena for the 2026/27 season.
Despite attracting inevitable interest from clubs at Step 6 and above, Jordan has committed his future to Telford Town and will continue to lead the club into the new campaign.
Jordan joined the club in July 2024 from Shifnal Town, having previously represented Dawley Town, Wednesfield and Shawbury United.
A leader both on and off the pitch, Jordan played a key role in the club's historic treble-winning 2024/25 season as vice-captain before taking over the captain's armband midway through the 2025/26 campaign.
Since arriving at Telford Town, Jordan has become one of the most respected figures at the football club and his decision to remain with the Town is a huge boost as preparations continue for the new season.
Manager Shaun Ralph said:
"Keeping Jordan at the football club was a massive priority for us.
"He's a fantastic captain, a brilliant character and somebody who leads by example every single week.
"The fact he has chosen to stay despite interest from elsewhere says everything about him and everything about what we're building at Telford Town.
"We're absolutely delighted he'll be leading us again this season."
Everyone at Telford Town FC is delighted that Jordan will once again captain the side in 2026/27.
