Telford Town are delighted to confirm the signing of experienced goalkeeper Adam Jenkins from Pelsall Villa Colts.

Jenkins arrives at the Lionheart Security Services Stadium with a wealth of experience across the Midlands non-league game, having previously represented the likes of Stafford Town, Darlaston Town, Walsall Wood and Heath Hayes.

Adam is particularly well known from his time with Stafford Town, where he established himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper and captain.

His performances also earned recognition from the North West Counties Football League, with Adam named First Division South Goalkeeper of the Month in October 2024 following an outstanding run of five consecutive clean sheets, going an incredible 491 minutes without conceding a goal.

During that remarkable month, Adam played every minute of Stafford’s five matches without conceding and was also named the opposition’s Man of the Match in their victory at Cammell Laird 1907.

An experienced goalkeeper with proven pedigree in this division, Adam also brings leadership, communication and a winning mentality to the Telford Town squad.

“He’s a big presence, he communicates well and he’s shown over a long period what a reliable goalkeeper he can be. His leadership qualities are also a massive positive for us.
