First Half: Telford Fight Back to Take the Lead
The match opened with an early shock for the hosts. In the 6th minute, Clee Hill took advantage of a straight ball floated over the top of the defence, catching the centre-backs off guard and allowing the forward to run clean through to make it 0–1.
Telford Town gathered themselves and found their equalizer in the 23rd minute. Following a swung-in corner that Clee Hill failed to clear cleanly, the ball fell to Harry Brown-Williams. His scuffed effort had just enough on it to roll over the keeper’s arm and into the net to bring Telford level at 1–1.
Just four minutes later in the 27th minute, Telford turned the game on its head with a brilliantly worked counter-attack. A long punt from Clee Hill’s box set up a dangerous one-on-one at the other end, but goalkeeper Corey Lindsay pulled off a crucial save. The rebound bounced out to Ewan Porteous, who fed the ball into Fletcher Rushbury. Fletch delivered a fine pass to Joshua Porteous, who controlled, cleverly spun his defender, and slotted the ball past the keeper to make it 2–1.

Second Half: Dominant Telford Seal the Victory
Telford came out firing in the second half and extended their lead almost immediately in the 48th minute. A long kick out from Corey Lindsay was caught by the Clee Hill goalkeeper, but his hasty clearance went straight to Sileye Soumare, who calmly finished into the bottom corner for 3–1.
After Harry picked up a yellow card in the 52nd minute, Telford made a swift change, introducing Logan Whittaker off the bench in the 53rd minute.
The substitution paid instant dividends. Just a minute later in the 54th minute, a throw-in found Logan, who whipped in a first-time cross for Fletcher Rushbury to smash home for 4–1. Immediately following the goal, Telford made another change, swapping Joshua Porteous for Inyaka Ebenezer.
With a comfortable three-goal cushion, Telford played with absolute freedom. The pressure was off, and they took total control of the match, popping the ball around with confidence and fluidity. In the 60th minute, the hosts made a triple substitution, bringing off Ryan, Fletcher, and Caide for Elviz, Turell, and Daniel. Despite the raft of changes, Telford maintained their rhythm and dominant possession.
The final blow came in the 89th minute. A mistimed kick from a Clee Hill defender allowed Logan Whittaker to pounce on the loose ball, beating the keeper one-on-one to make it 5–1.
Telford managed the single minute of stoppage time effortlessly, keeping the ball to see out an impressive and emphatic win.
